Surging after fitting TIP

i fitted a Forge TIP a few weeks back and eversince then it has been "surging" in 5th.

It seems to come on to boost and then you can here it kind of dump slightly and then it will come back on full boost after about 10secs,

Is it going in to limp mode?

Would a new n75/n249 bypass sort my problem or is something that i will have to put up with( i hope not cos it's doing my head in!)?

Possibly the N75 mate, see if someone will swap one with you.

would it be worth swapping it for a F type as i've got a C one at the minute or would that make it worse?

Hmm, minefield, some people report improvement with different N75 valve's, other report problems, for example some revo'd cars had issues with the J valves iirc.

I opted for the same version i had, which was an F iirc.

Turn's out it wasnt the problem anyway though.

Do a throttle body reset and disconnect the battery for a bit to see if it helps.

think i will try what you say Phil and see if that does anything, if not i will have to order a new n75,

Throttle body reset:- Bonnet open, drivers door open, ignition on and what for noise to stop? on a cold engine?
