I got mine from Badger5, Bill, who comes on here lots. Great service and when worked out not a lot more expensive than from the states. Plus I now feel I can call him for advise every now and then.

Excuse me for being thick but what are each application used for?

And at what point power/rpm wise is it wise to change the spring set?

single grooved are more "race". they do both nowdays.. i run tripple groove myself as thats all they did back then.

for me, its peace of mind on anything 1.8t if you have to remove the head. dropped valves destroy the motor and turbo completely usually.

if considering cams at a later date, then you will want springs which can accomodate them. oe springs dont have much left in them for total lift, and are single springs only. (dual exhaust on supertech), Ti caps etc.

valves are essential imho on an engine build on bt. springs, for me is peace of mind as i broke one and was lucky as *uck it did'nt drop a valve on me last year.
