Ordered a SuperSpray on Tuesday from John Atkin and it landed on my doorstep Wednesday morning, great fast service. I didnt really plan on using it untill this weekend, but curiousty got the better of me, so I went and had a play last night, after my tea of course. So I put a little Megs NXT shampoo in the Superspray, then topped it up with water. Hooked the Superspray upto the hose pipe, then turned on the tap on the superspray....got a nice strong flow of water. Aimed at the Audi, I then turn on the "shampoo" tap, whhhoooosh out come the lovely suds! REALLY impressed at how soapy the superspray was showering the car with the shampoo. Equally I was impressed with how long the Superspray makes the shampoo last. Once I felt enough shampoo was on the car, I simply turn the shampoo tap on the Superpsray off and turn the water tap on the Superspray to off, let the soap run off the car for a few minutes, then rinse the car off with water.

This is great for using as a pre-wash to get rid of all the grit on your car as its MUCH better at loosening all the dirt rather than just water, this way you will not be inflicting those dreaded swirl marks on your car.

This superspray is a seriously awesome bit of kit, simple yet effective.

Here's a Vid that somones done of it in action (click):

Have to be honset, that looks a bit lame compared to the gilmour i bought a few months back:

Much thicker suds, and covers the car in no time, plus it drags the crud off as it slowly drips off.

Some Karcher pressure washers have this feature built in. The one I have has a tank on the side to fill with your favourite car wash. You simply remove the end piece of the jet and it drops the pressure and starts giving you the same affect as daveys above but with a nice wide angle to the way it sprays.

Pop the end of the jet back on and it turns back into a pressure washer again :)

regarding suds, depends what shampoo and ratio your using, plus this costs WAY less than a gilmour!
Your right, the gilmour isn't cheap (£50 i paid) but it does the job better than most foam guns (even Iain from Finer details was impressed with it over the Karcher foam gun).

Well I decided that my new car was going to equal more cleaning and I have less time for detailing with a 7 month old to entertain. Not having a spare £50 (kids do that to your bank account ;) ) I ordered a Superspray and will give some feedback on the forum. John at Superspray says he has thrown in a few samples too.........which is nice.

I also ordered a few bits from Autobrite, wheel cleaner and snow foam.......someone remind me why I bought a black car again ;)
