Superchipped vs Revo

As simple as the title, tell me gentlemen (and ladies) i took a little trip into Seditas Cars in Ayr which specialise in turbo tuning to have a talk about my engine modifying options and i was told that superchipping would be better than revo'ing it for performance and such like?

What does everyone think and has anyone got their 1.8turbo superchipped?

Cheers

Kyle

Simply... if you want your car too be an enjoyable drive then Revo. If you want your car to feel like standard with an extra bit of poke out the rev's where your small K03 doesn't like boosting anyway then I recommend Superchumps

Or failing that just come to me and have it done :)

I can give you a super-chip tune to try ,, then i can give you my tune to try and you can then choose which you like best.

Super-chip tuning in my opinion is a bit mild for my personal tastes.

Superchips map price £511.13 all inc
Bell autos map price £295 all inc

Hey Kyle you come from ayr?I too went along and looked at them at seditas as he knows his stuff, however i opted for Revo, mainly because they specialise in Vag and german cars, whereas superchips make them for every car so may not have done the same amount of research. I may be wrong though!

Cool i'm in ayr quite a bit also with my mate who has a black mk3 cupra r, his ID is strapper on here. I took mine to Neil at drivers in Glasgow to get Revo installed. Kev from revo was there at the time and they are really helpful. Mine is boosting a little low just now and Neil has said pop up any time and he will put it on vagcom for me!I have the unregistered version of it!!

Never had superchips so couldnt comment but havent heard great stuff about them either..., They claim 30bhp where as when i had mine revod it gave me a nice 40bhp increase and 80lbs of toruqe, its very fun to drive and gives you a good kick up the arse when you give it some beans!
