Wow wow wow!
Superchips? Bluefin? What did you have before the LCR a RST? Focus ST170?
These are not the remapping options anyone on here would go for, do a wee search on Revo, Jabba, P Torque, APR, Bell, Star Performance,

where you located?

I had a MG ZR 160 remapped by superchips to 194 bhp. They say they cam remap a LCR to 281 bhp. Im located in both colchester and tamworth

They can't mate! Ask them for proof!
I don't know a single person on this forum that has a superchip on there car.
More tried and trusted mapping companies make themselfs known on here.
Most people will back me up when i say a "Generic Map" will produce between 255-270bhp and if you pay for a custom map with some choice mods you should see 270 solid ponnies, but you will be hard pushed to get 280 bhp without all the mods i can think of, FMIC, TIP, CAI, Forge pipes for everythin, downpipe and de/race cat, and one top map!

I think 281bhp is maybe a tad hopeful.
I have not seen a standard LCR running a standard exhaust and cat setup just with a re-map / chip make 280+bhp with the K04s turbo on a decent set or Rollers / Dyno.

APR, Jabba, Revo and Star as mentioned above are tried and tested with some good results. Do a Search on LCR Remap for some good posts.

Yea fair one come to think of it, its costs a bomb to some what near to 500 kwid. The MG cost 365 kwid and it showed 194 bhp on the RR print out, or thats what they wanted me to see??

All iv done to it at the mo is a K and N pannel filter and bailey recirc DV. I was looking in to getting a sprint booster fitted when i get it serviced in dec but changed my mind now and was thinking of superchip again???Hence this. I suppose im just looking for a little more kick or some thing to over come the turbo lag, ie FMIC but you'll always get lag

Well the reason i was asking is i'm waiting tll i get all my mods then a custom map to suit them all, rather than a generic map then adding the mods (exhaust, tip, filter) if you go fot the mods then custom map then you get the most from those mods!

depends on what your looking to get from your car. Mine has a green cotton panel filter, Forge 007p DV and a Stage 1 Revo map. I am more then happy with my results and the car does shift when you can get the power down without spinning.
