Supercharger

I have seen a few posts here and there about Turbo's and superchargers and have a few questions.

ive got a 2.0 16v and have been given a Mini S Works supercharger.
i can get all engine work done for free pretty much but need some guidance into what to look at get???

i have no idea but maybe??

new pistions and rods
head will be skimmed and ported
maniflow
new cams
new rockers maybe??

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Don't get the head skimmed.

Depends what PSI that supercharger runs at. The cupra sport should take a low level boost without much work.

Fuel injectors might need replacing and head gasket might need to be upgraded.

i have been lead to believe it runs between 11-15 is that high or low??

i've always been told the mini one is too small and would choke it

would have to compare it to a g60 one i suppose to be sure

well these are the sort of things im hoping ppl have seen or have knowledge about but im guessing a intercooler but again depends on size of one that i would have to run??

HAHA What kind of attitude is that!

11-15 is pretty high, although one guy was running a diesel turbo on his 1.4 with 22psi of boost! Vag engines are pretty good for it

bolt it on, go quickly until it blows lol then learn from mistake

My dad builds engines for orignal minis so am hoping to get it right first time but hasnt done anything like this before so thought i would research the whole thing.

Maybe worth looking at dropping the works lump in and worry about mounting it if you can get hold of one?
