Sunglasses Holder in MkIII Ibiza?!

Does anybody know if the Sunglasses holder will fit in the MkIII Ibiza? Currently i don't have a hand grip thing there so i'm wondering if it will fit or not?!

Ideas?

I've got one in mine. It does fit, but needs a small amount of modifying on the back to fit perfectly. I'll dig out some pics of it for you

That's the one I've got. It sits just a little proud of the a pillar, which I didn't like, so I trimmed the back of the holder around the screw holes a couple of mm to make it perfect.

Hmm how much of a boch job is it then? From the sounds of it Garth i just have to trim some of the back off around the screw holes to make it fit like a nut?! Pictures will be nice BTW how much is it? I found it on VagParts.com for £11 something!

You have to trim the rear of it a bit other wise the std screws can't get purchase on the door frame.

Aha i take its the hard plastic it screws into and not the felt roof lining! Doesn't sound too difficult!

No, it screws into the metal of the car (just like the grab handle)

Use the grab handle screws you take out (and note how far they went in roughly)
