Does anyone know the sump plug torque for a 1.2tsi leon 2018.

The engine is a cyvb.#

thx

30 NM on my Ibiza 999cc with alloy sump and using the "long" plug. This figure is quoted in the Haynes manual and I double checked by asking at my local VAG indy workshop.

Thanks Super V8. That's very interesting. Using a replaceable crush washer appeals too but I do like the idea of the longer threaded plug. I have a couple of these longer plugs with their captive steel washers left from previous services (I never throw something away which looks to be still serviceable) so I'm going to try removing the captive washer from one and try a 14mm crush washer on it to see if it will work. Very interesting to see the "official" recommendation though. The plug I removed at year 4 when I did my first "home" service on it was a long plug with captive washer, so either the dealer was replacing it with the long plug on the previous services (or reusing the original plug?) The dealer has always just supplied a replacement "long" plug with it's captive washer on the two occasions I bought from them. Interesting too to see the 30NM torque figure supported.
