I know next to nothing when talking about cars. So hoping could get some suggestions from you guys as you seem to know your stuff.

I brought an 04 1.4tdi sport black ibiza with 52,000 on the clock 3 months ago for £4500. I have done nothing to it since i brought it so has no alloys etc and is a brilliant car

But a guy at the school across from where i work has the 55 fr 1.8 20v ibiza also in black and has alloys, better grills blah blah

I have been very close to half inching his alloys and grills but think it might be abit obivious when i roll up with them the following day.

I dont want to make my car look chavy in anyway. Just want it to look that little bit sportier.

Can you help?

Cheers Danny

You've answered your own question there...

Check out the "my ride" section for pictures, loads of people post up MK4's.

But as you said you like whats on the FR, so why not get the grills (cheap!!) from Seat and get the wheels either from a replica shop online, or post up in the wanted section for some MK4 pre-facelift wheels going on the cheap.

P.S welcome to the forum :)

Is it the bottom grill at the front of the car? using the search tool just brings up threads where "LCR splitters" were mentioned cant find it where it acutally says what it is

It's a thin section of plastic that attaches under the bumper, along the front edge. It's makes the front of the car look a bit more aggressive and lower at the front.

It's called an LCR splitter, as the part is actually for the Leon Cupra R (LCR) and it's proper name is a splitter. I think it needs a bit of tinkering with to fit correctly and if you lower your car too much you may have issues with speed bumps/bumpy roads etc.

First pic is without splitter and the second is with splitter (although badly fitted until i chucked more self tapping screws at it:D). Couldn't really be much more easy to fit;)
