Stuttering Cupra 225. Coil pack & spark plugs

Hi guys I'm sure this has been covered before but it's driving me mad!
Few weeks back I was driving and my car turned into a tractor while the EML started flashing.
Pulled over as wasnt sure what the problem was and phoned the AA. Guy came out and told me about the commen coil pack fault. It was 4 that was the fault so generous guy swapped 4 into 1 so I could easily fit a new one myself. So I replaced 1 but there was no improvement. Hooked up to diagnostic which said 4 was still failing so I then replaced this. Car was running ok but when I floor it the car stutters then pushes thru it. Any gear I try to push her she just stutters then goes again. I don't feel like I'm getting full boost though. So I've just replaced my spark plugs and the other 2 coils but the problem is still there :-/
Anyone had a similar problem and fixed it?
Current set up is 05 Cupra R, stage 1 remap with forge recirculating valve.
Thanks in advance!

Check the PCV hoses around the where the forge valve is for leaks and splits first.
Change all coil packs as they usually all die
i find these run better on NGK iridium plugs BCPr7eix expensive but the best

Does sound like an air leak, get vcds lite and look at the long and short term fuel trim, if the short is plus a lot its an air leak in intake side.
Also check condition of coil pack loom as it can chafe through on rocker cover and the heat makes it fail

Thanks for the reply spud!
I've changed all 4 coils now and fitted NGK plugs. Still same problem. It's sounding lumpy on idle. If I drive her normal she's fine but when I push it, that's when I'm getting the stutter. Think I'm going to have to put into garage as I'm not too clued up on finding leaks or that. Unless there's anyone near glasgow who's leon handy?
I,ll have look at PVC hoses near the forge tmrw and if no joy it's garage bound. Thanks for the info tho

I hear it spooling up but if I push it more that's when it stutters. Took it to garage this morning told him the script he asked me to pop bonnet and rev it then immediately said boost leak. Said the hose to the inter cooler should go solid when I rev it but its not. So I've left it with them and I,ll see how I get on.

Not sure the garage has that completely correct, the 1.8T doesn't make any boost if you rev it in neutral as there is no load on the engine.

I'd have been tempted to unplug the MAF to see it that improves the issue.

Ok got the car back so they done a smoke test and the leak is at the recirculating valve.
They said in still showing numerous faults on the coil packs and that they have a auto electrician who can look at it for me. I've replaced all coils would the stutter at boost show these faults or u think that's not connected? It's idling fine just the boost issue. And is it easier to just fit a new valve?
Thanks guys

Ok little update on my problem....
The garage had said ignition coil was damaged at the top so I have replaced this now. The car is no longer stuttering under full boost Happy not quite yet!
I dont feel im getting full boost from car. It still pulls really hard but it pulled harder before the problem. The garage had said they done a smoke test and I had a leak in the Forge valve, so im guessing this is the problem.
Is it just the pipe I need to replace? if so what should i go for? Sorry newbie to this stuff and I cant seem to get a garage im fully trustworthy in so far. Since getting the car 4 Months ago ive put in a new clutch and flywheel, only to drive it off and my dashboard was like a xmas tree with no speedo and constant flashing petrol light, then hit a pothole and a spring snapped so 2 front springs. Now this which ive already bought 4 coils and 4 plugs for. I want to eventually mod the car but I want it to be running ok before I do.
If anyone knows any garages in the Glasgow area that are good with this stuff and trustworthy Id be happy to go and speak to. Just need to get this silly problem out the way first.
