Hi guys wonder if anyone has had this problem before?
Car was fine till one day i started it up and it was stuck on a very lumpy idle. The accelerator didnt work at all
. I searched using vag com and i got:
16684 random multiple missfire
16687 cyl 3 miss
16688 cyl 4 miss
16804 cat bank 1 below threshold
17973 idle speed control throttle position lower limit not achieved
17972 idle speed control throttle position low voltage
I have come to the conclusion that the missfires/02 sensor is all down to the throttle body or accel pedal sensor as everything was fine before (plus new 02 sensor fitted)
I have cleaned out the throttle body, checked/disconnected maf, disconnected ecu (all looks fine from outside) no water etc.
Is this problem throttle body or accel sensor? or has someone got any other ideas,
