Stripping Paintwork

Ok, so i've managed to get hold of a face lift cupra bumper, but its kiwi green..

I need to re-spray it black, but have no idea what to use to strip the paint off as it is made of plastic and i'm worried about damage to the bumper itself..

Can any one tell me of a cheap affordable stripper that wont harm it?

Cheers in advance

When i did mine on my old mk2, ( front bumper was Ovni, rear was Bengal yellow, I needed them red) I simply 'keyed' then down with some wet/dry paper , gave them a good few coats of Primer , sanded again between coats, then finally a few of the 'top' coat /colour and a blow over with clear to finish
Job done..

If you ever need to strip paint then "nitromors" is quite good. Give it a coat, attack with a wire brush and it should all come off. But on things like bumpers and spoilers you might as well just sand it a bit with wet&dry and then primer it and spray it.

nitromors is effective at lifting paint off of alloys, probably best to use ur elbows for the bumper.
