Ahh its all become clearer now, I wondered why when pressing it I saw my partner fly over the seat and land in a crumpled heap on the back row. They really should mark these ejector seats more carefully.

Down by my drivers seat just back from the door, has a symbol of the car with like radio waves coming from the roof internally, what is this for?

turns off internal alarm sensors if thats the button ur looking at

Its to switch the interior sensors off if you want to leave kids or pets in the car.
