I don’t know, but if I was buying a steering wheel mounted visual theft deterrent, I’d get a Disklok.

100% agree, and the SMALL will fit no issues. You can also get a 'silk' sock to protect the wheel under the disklock but i have never damaged the wheel in 20+years use (yes i had one in 1996).

I also keep an old microfiber towel in the car and when i take it off the steering wheel put he microfiber between the two parts before closing - this stops any rattling around. :)

Agree that Disklock probably ultimately the best, but's a bit of a pain in the arse :) just read Auto Express's review and both Stoplock and Disklock took over 5 mins and power tools to get off, so were joint winners, Stoplock given the nod as it's more convenient to have in the car...

The Stoplock probably is easier to store in the car but in the event of an accident, if it’s stored in the (passenger compartment of the) car, it could easily become a projectile and inflict a nasty injury.

IMO, it’s safer to store in the boot, in which case, I’d still go for the Disklok. The disklok storage bag has Velcro on the back, so you could stick it to the boot floor to stop it moving around.

The Stoplock Pro would not fit the wheel on my new 1.8tsi FR. I inadvertently sounded the horn several times in my efforts to attach it :drive2:

I used to slide the lock under the passenger seat of my last car to help avoid projectile tendencies - it was a fairly tight fit. Don't know if this would work in the Leon.

Why are you looking at Stoplock and Disclock? Is it to stop your car from being stolen? I have a new Cupra 300 ST 4Drive with KESSY and I was concerned about theft right from the beginning. I wanted something to stop the scroats from taking the car even if they had the key! I came across the Autowatch Ghost Immobiliser and had one fitted. Not cheap but it's brilliant. Take a look on YouTube, you won't want anything else.

I went with the Disklok (and protective sock) and store it in the Velcro backed bag in the boot with no issues. It is not the easiest thing to fit or remove but one its strengths is that is very much a visible deterrent.

Looks a good system, not sure it's ideal on a lease car, not gettong KESSY as far as I know, so not overly concerned, but obviously the CUPRA could attract unwanted attention, so just something to put them off really, SToplock and Disklock do seem to be the best in testing... the convenient size of Stoplock attracts me more as I'm a lazy git...
