still happening cut outs

ok temp sensor changed plugs cleaned leads checks rotor arm and cap cleaned isv cleaned throttle intake cleaned and still have problem thing is now iv changed to temp sensor it cuts out v soon into the journey it will restart straight away but wont cut out again until i leave it for over 2 hours or so any more ideas coz its realy doing my pickle i also put in fueal and injector cleaner

last thing to try then is the crank position sensor.......

PM 'smithy' as I know he bought a few when he got one for his Ibiza.... may still have 1 or 2 spare.

yeh i got 1 of them but need to get it into a garage to fit it coz its hard to get to thing is i cant understand why it will only die onece then wont do it again wierd??

intermittent fault... you'll find it'll start to happen more frequently until it gives up all together....

Could possibly be your fuel pump intermitantly cutting out, when you turn the key over does the fuel pump sound make noise?

i dont know i havent checked the wierd thing is that once the car is up to temp say between 70-90 deg it wont cut out i drove it today and it didnt cut out but it did feel quite lumpy to start with i also took the inlet/carb off and gave that a propper good clean tho id have to say there wasent much grime in there?

might also be 'cr@p' in the fuel lines, which is acting like a butterfly valve and blocking the line.....

well i got some redx fuel line cleaner and injector cleaner put it in on fri eve did a 30 mile ride and in the begging of that ride it cut out but then no probs left overnite and drove 30 miles today and didnt cut out so heres hoping fingers crossed
