Has anyone else had a problem with the front windows seeming to stick when they go up? Also seem really slow! And everytime I put my window up it buts a smear mark on the inside  Any quick fixes for this?

Cheers Dave :D

Hi Dave
I had the same problem with my drivers window, Took the car back to seat Wolverhampton and they replaced a part under warranty think it was the controller off hand but it now works fine, :funk:

Mine did it and they replaced some seals and lubricated something else and it's been ok since.

when you use the one touch window close do you find that the car stops it and brings it back down? ie the pinch protection?
if so i had the same thing and managed to fix it. if it applies to you ill let u know the fix.

i can only speak for my situation (front o/s window) but i had to remove the inner door card and re align the window to the runners. basically what had happened is that when i had the door controller replaced they didnt put the window on properly so it slanted one way and put pressure on the edges. you will need to loosen the window and align it properly, tighten it then test, with a bit of trial and error you should be able to sort it out. i also lubed everything up while i had the door card off.
it was one of those things that the dealer didnt want to / couldnt fix....
