Just done a little search on this problem but couldnt find anything really to solve my problem.

when i first got my car Nov 2008 the Boost guage would move smoothly up and back down through boosting but just lately it seems to be sticking at peak of boost and the pin coming back down like in a 'jerky' way lol!

checked under bonnet and the hose going from the gauge through to the T piece then to the Split-r it was a lil jammed under the seal which sits under the edge of the bonnet (if that makes sense) so i cut a piece away making a clear path with nothing to affect the hose.

but its still sticking?

anyone shed some light on this ( sorry for the explaining hope u understand) lol

im not to sure as they were already fitted on the car i know that the boost has a clear hose connecting to a T piece above the DV if that helps... theres wires also but im pretty sure its for the backlight

yeah it will be mechanical. replace the clear hose with some samco 3mm hose but to be honest a better gauge would be my first option if it was me. autogauges are ok but dont tend to last too long
