Stereo problem...

Hi Folks....Just put a Sony stereo in the mota and it won't keep the stored radio stations in the unit after the ignition is turned off and on again....any ideas...all welcome...cheers

you need to change the red and yellow wire around at the back of the head unit (bullet connectors)......so instead of it being red to red and yellow to yellow it needs to be red to yellow and vice versa......you could have tried searching as it has been covered loads of times...:rolleyes:

is this with all head units as my clarions headunits doesnt store the settings sometimes so wondering i need to do this

i am but spent ages last time getting it all flush so dont wanna tear it up if thats not the problem

edit: did it and it worked so looks like its for all head units
