Stereo Help

I've installed my stereo in my Ibiza, after breaking the aerial connector getting the old on out, but it seems to be sunk in more than the normal one. I've taken some pics to show the gap. Is there anyway of getting rid of this? I wouldn't be too bothered, but after spending so long trying to replace the aerial lead, its looks messy with the sponge showing through!




ps...thanks to LordNikon for the tip about swapping the red and yellow cables over to stop it resetting.

Is that a sony headunit, looks the same as mine. Ive got the same problem, been wandering myself

Yeh it's a sony one from my old fiesta.

To add to this, it seems my aerial connection is buggered. Does anyone know how to replace the connector inside? What happened is; when I took my seat stereo out, the cable was so small it snapped the inside bit of the connection. So now I need to cut the wire and rewire it. Only problem is its right inside. Halford's said I need an aerial repair kit, but I've searched everywhere and can't find one!
