Steering wheels

Hey ive done a search but all quite old and not specific info that i wanted? before i phone seat how much roughly is a new steering wheel for my 130pd sport? anyone know off the top of their head? it has no controls on the steering wheel obviously and i wanna keep it that way, dont really wanna upgrade and i assume i probably couldnt make them work anyway! mine has gone all shiny and its going white! looks really crap! also what other steering wheels will fit from other VAG cars or is this a bit too much like hard work to do? ta

no coz i'm not sure on all the bits i'll need so id rather buy it new or get another VAG one unless someone can tell me all the things i'll need

The standard bulk steering wheel is around 180£ (incl VAT).
Leather steering wheel is around 450£ (incl VAT).

Plus you will need to use the excisting center piece (cover + airbag unit), screws, etc.

the steering wheels rang from something like £80-£130 and then the more expensive airbags range from £280-350 iirc

these prices are rough estimates, as i enquired a while back about the facelift FR steering wheel for my cousin's Leon. best bet is to keep an eye out on the bay, that's the place to pick em up quite cheap (and if you're lucky one thats in pristine condition). my cousins one cost £300 all in
