I have a 2013 Seat Ibiza FR with 28,000 miles on the clock
It has had an intermittent fault of the power steering failing at random times over a few months, until last week it gave up completely and now the light will not go off and there is no power steering at all.
I had a vag com on it last night which brought up '1288-incorrect voltage'
The battery has been checked and is fine and the voltage regulator on the alternator has been changed and the light is still on.
Any ideas will be much appreciated !!

You say the battery has been checked, what has been done to check it ?
