steering wheel audio controls

As some of you will know i have had a 55plate ibiza sport and an 06 1.8t fr both of which had steering wheel controls for the radio the thing that always annoyed me was that they didnt light up so at night they were completely useless driving my leon tonight which has the same steering wheel i noticed that they do light up on that .
So were both my beeza's faulty or are seat just being lazy and not puting the power feed in to operate the light's in the controls

Nope Ibiza's don't light up!

I'm used to them after three months anyway - know where they are so it doesn't bother me!

Sadly they dont light up on the ibiza, I was a bit disappointed when i found mine didn't anyway!
If there wasn't an airbag sat reght next to them i would have a look to see if there was a way to get them lit up. Dont suppose anyone knows if this can be done?
