I have a 2002 Arosa TDi, its got a slight knock on the steering.
Sometimes on bumpy roads when cornering i can feel it through the steering wheel.
Sometimes when its parked up, i can turn the wheel slightly and feel the knock then, with the engine off or on.
And i seem to be able to pull the wheel towards me about a mm or two. Its hard to explain.
And the knock appears to come from the top near the steering wheel and not under the car, but i suppose the noise could be travelling up the steering shaft.
The knocks feel like the wheel is loose, which it carnt be surely.
Ive had it to one independant garage i use to service my car and they couldnt fathem what it could be.
I was just wondering if anyone has had similar porblems or would know what it might be?
