Steering Geometry??

Hi,
I have a 99 Cordoba Vario and have been told the steering geometry may be out. I didn't think there was really any adjustment in these cars, maybe I am wrong but i definatly need some advice:help:.
When i got the car the wheel allignment was out and it was wearing the tyres, i got it set but after a few weeks I noticed it was still wearing them so i took it back, they never fully admitted it but I think they had put it to the wrong setting first time and they did readjust it free. Since then I felt it was fine, I am still keeping an eye on the tyres but don't see the same signs of wear. What I did notice was that the car sits slightly higher at one side than the other but the springs are OK. I would say the suspension is not great, they seem to put longer springs on the estates which doesn't help but i suppose it is so they can carry extra weight. The car is a TDI and has done 90,0000 miles, my assumption was that it would be the original now slightly tired suspension, which I would replace eventually. To be honest since I fitted alloys with lower profile tyres it has been better, doesn't pull to any side or bounce around so much but also it has just passed an MOT so there shouldn't be any play or leaks in the shock absorbers.
I am thinking for the geometry to be out someone would have to have messed about with it in the past and not set it up properly, the only place I can see that there could be adjustment is between the strut and the hub but I thought myself you just bolted that together but I could be on a learning curve here, wouldn't be the first time:redface:!
I would appreciate peoples opinions, can it be adjusted, who can do it, how much and is it dangerous in the meantime:think:?
Thanks.

I think maybe I should have headed this Suspension Geometry, so that's the first mistake:redface:.
Also possibly I have confused people by giving too much info, what i need to know primarily is can you adjust this on a MK1 Cordoba:confused:?

You can adjust camber & toe on the vario :D

getting someone who's able to measure it accurately is another matter

My local seat garage does it for £65+VAT, which isn't all that bad I guess!

Otherwise you will find an idependant garage that might do it for a little less!

My local Seat dealer said £90 so that's not so good and apparently it costs about £70 to check so the price is going to be about that no matter what. Possibly a good quality tyre services place may do it I will need to phone around unless anyone can suggest anywhere in Central Scotland??
