Thinking of buying/running some steels on the cupra for the remainder of this winter and next winter as i want to refurb the cupra wheels a bit darker and keep them as good wheels

are there any steels that will fit over the cupra brakes? would want at least 6 inch wide too!

i think you'l struggle with that. you could always use spacer to clear the brakes though

I know what you mean mate. I'd deffo run steelies in the winter if they fitted over the front brakes.

Tis is the colour of my wheels now :D

think they look great. am toying with the idea of the skoda VRS wheels that one member has too. soooooo nice. and gonna start doing track days and dont really wanna continue to change tyres so gonna run two sets of wheels

see those ones dont really do it for me. i thought they would when i first got the car but seeing as the originals, with the dish, wouldnt fit, i dont wanna g for reps as they dont look anywhere near as good.

thinking about it more, i shoulda bought the tt ones off ebay last night. as even if i hadnt like them they couldve just been tidied up and sold for a profit!

Dont think the RS4 reps or VRS ones fit over the front brakes.

I have a couple of sets of Cupra ones, as I couldnt find any others to fit (except compomotive MO's, Pro Race 1.2's and TT ones (but they weigh a ton).

My Wheels are for trackdays, so I need them too. As I've mentioned before... if you see some buy them. You will always make your money back on them as they are really sought after.

If I get my 205 track car I may sell a set, but that will be in the summer.

dift - awesome cheers dude. let me know

jacko - to be honest i wouldnt want to really get rid of them, although that depends on what you're willing to offer me for the wheels, which incidentally have pretty much brand spanking Toyos on them

send me a PM
