For the second time in a week now my intake (i think its the intake pipe (that big silver pipe that runs over the top of the engine) has popped out of the rubber joint connecting it to the turbo (at the back of the engine)
Only this time it popped out completely and was a REAL bitch to push back in,
Managed to get it back in with some help.
But now my engine warning lamp on my dash is on.
When the pipe cam out, car was stalling and all sorts, which it didnt do last time, but last time it was not all the way out.

Any1 any ideas on why this keeps popping out? have i got a crappy clip perhaps?or is my engine flexing to much on its mounts?

Any ideas? As im annoid and thinking of going back to Nat Asp. Far less bloody issues.

Get it on vag-com to clear the faults, I had the same problem a couple of times when i had my k03s put on a jubilee clip sorted it and hasnt popped off since. get 2 and do top and bottom just to make sure ;)

is this the reason why you didnt turn up to the JKM RR day? if it is myself alone could of told you in 2 seconds flat and i expect JKM would have sold/gave you a couple of clips :D

IIRC Forge do a replacement silicone part for around £40, then as said get your self a decent clamp (mickalor/jubilee etc) and your away.

You want a 54mm-48mm reducer from forge, and some jubilee clamps, make sure you leave a bit of a gap above the edge of the pipe so the clamps can grip correctly.
