Well I got the metal and parts today to make one, its been mentioned on these forums before on how to make one, so Im givving it ago. Has anyone else got one, by dead pedal I mean foot rest, dummy pedal, u know the great piece of plastic or metal next to the clutch lol. Anyway would be nice to see for some ideas, Ill also post pics when Im done, probably have a go over weekend if I get a chance

Mine has a footrest/dead pedal as standard.

it could be rivvited to the standard plastic deadpedal or stuck on i never usemine so wouldnt need to take much stick!

Good luck mate. The drilled alu look is fairly straightforward - even though you need to drill best part of 100 noisy holes! They suited my R pedals nicely. Tried thinking of how someone might be able to do a TT one but never really came up with anything. You would need to find some kind of rubber to suit but then you would need to fix -don't know if superglue would be enough. Best trying to keep it simple I think.

Made a start, cut the metal fits like a glove, and started the design for what pattern I want cutting in. pics below cos u all like them better than text

obviously going to sand down and polish up before putting in, think the sanding and polishing will help mask scrathces caused by feet.

well finally finished the dead pedal, I think it looks good, obviously could look a lot better given a lot of time and more effort + better equipment, But overall I reckon it looks good and looks better than the original plastic one.

very impressive matey!!! looks really good if paper dont want to get it wet :lol: if i could change 1 thing it would be to make the the square cutouts slightly rounder to look more simular to the pedals but hey that still looks really good

I tired making em round but, they were hard to make look the same, ie same curve so I gave up lol, o and the paper is laminated :D
