Standard rear Bumper / FR rear Bumper differences

Is there any differences from the standard leon rear bumper to the bumper that is on the leon FR?

Apart from that a std leon rear bumper is all body coloured where as a FR leon bumper has a grey plastic area were the number plate fits?

Is the design slightly different or does the grey plastic on the FR just make it look as though the FR bumper has a larger area for the number plate?

The reason I ask is that I have (brand new - candy white) FR bumpers to fit to my car, but I'm trying to work out if swapping the rear bumper is worth the effort and more importantly the money??

I have been quoted £200 to spray and fit each bumper, Is it worth it or should I just leave the rear bumper as is?

I know I could hold the FR bumper up to the car to check for differences, but the FR bumper is currently in the parents-in-laws garage and I am @ work

The rear bumper is quite a bit different yes. Purely the big grey bit is a bigger shape.

Hi I fitted the front FR bumper to my car and it only took an hour or so.. It was quite easy.

The only thing that's stopping me fitting the back one is that I'll have to drill it to fit the parking sensors..

Anyone got a template for this>

i preffer the colour coded non fr rear bumper myself but if i had the chance iw ould swop the front bumper to the fr model tho but thats just me!

I agree, and that is what is putting me off, the garage have said they can spray and fit with parking sensors (using a cone cutter !!!)

but I aint got the £200 to do it at the moment. So front FR bumper only for now

There are plenty of FR front bumpers for sale on Ebay these day for approx £100 inc delivery
