Thanks mate, I have read it a couple of times.

I have done a shed load of audio installs TBH so I'm pretty sure of what I'm doing but I have found a bodge on the standard h/u wiring in the dash and has thown me completly.

Should have it sorted this week tho. Im just trying to build my new H/U into my glove box at the minute.

I am amping comps in the front and 3 ways' in the rear. Along with an Active (amped) sub.

So I should only need the Live, Earth, Ig Live, Remote and can leave the rest in the standard H/U.

Lemonslap, do you know which is the standard unit fitted in the ibiza cupras? Is it the HIGH system?

Im going to be piggybacking the standard wiring for my alpine headunit next week.

Im basically going to be extending the "Multiple connector II" using some spare ISO male & female plugs I have.

Can someone check to see if I have this right:

Red ISO Cable (Switched Power) - PIN 1 (Positive KL15) - Multiple connector III
Yellow ISO Cable (Permanent Power) - PIN 5 (Battery positive, terminal 30) - Multiple connector III
Orange ISO Cable (Illumination) - PIN 6 (Lighting) - Multiple connector III
Blue ISO Cable (remote turn on) - Will connect direct to my amp
Black ISO Cable (Earth) - PIN 8 (KL31) - Multiple connector III.

Thanks!

Got it working in the end, however... the cars wiring didnt match up to the diagram above, my wiring was the other way round, terminal 1 should be permanant live but it was ignition live and terminal 5 that should have been ignt live was permanant live as per multimeter readings! But i wrote down the colours if anyone ever needs them!
