Does anyone know if the standard head unit - Aura - have any pre-outs?

Would like to add an infinity bass link to it but am not keen on changing the standard head unit just yet

TIA

I have a cassette Aura sat on my floor at the moment and that doesnt have preouts. Its possible to link to an amplifier using the high level output that goes to your speakers but this isn't a great option.

Bite the bullet and buy a new headunit. The fitting is really simple as the car has a standard DIN connection and the facia required to fill the gaps either side are cheap and effective

No it doesn't. However, you can get high-level to RCA adaptors if you are willing to sacrifice your rear speakers? These allow you to connect your speaker cable to the adaptor and turn them into a phono connection to use with an amp.

Unfortunately you have to lose the rear speakers to do this, as otherwise you end up lowering the resistance shown to the head unit which will cause it to overheat and may damage it.

By the way... I'm saying rear speakers, but it could be the fronts too if you prefer, but that would be daft!

hmmmm... that blows that idea then - cheers for the info though!

I will chnage the head unit eventually but for now I think the standard set up is adequate - tbh I'm really quite impressed with the sound quality :D
