have a read of the second post. can see why this wont work on the stock valve but be careful you dont damage the diaphram whilst testing

Yes i did that test on my standard one and the piston just returned back and could hear the air rushing through it, luckily enough i had taken it off because I was fitting a forge one as a precaution. Before i did that test I did have a mitivac (hand vacuum pump) onto it to see if it lifted at the same vacuum as the forge one, obviously I never did find out lol

With mine I noticed if I changed gear and got back on the throttle too quick the engine lost all power for a couple of seconds, obviously caused by the valve not operating at all, causing the turbo to stall on gear changes

Upgrade to a forge 007p as soon as you can!!! the stock bosch diverter valve is crap. the 007p will make your car boost better and sounds nice when you change gear. The best 80 quid you will ever spend:p
