Womble I has just undergone a minor Op... and has finally had the OEM Exhaust removed for a stainless steel system from www.longlife-exhausts.co.uk

Guys at the Basingstoke branch where great - No hassel at all even when I asked lame questions, well I'm not a fully fledged dervhead

Basically you ask & you shall have sir.

So am I impressed.... Yeah to right I am... And that was before I'd driven her, this was just from lisening and watching the guys drive my car up and down outside

For those that ask will the exhaust tone change... This was a major question to me, on tick-over from the front nope, walk to the rear, and the tone just gets deeper, but only marginal... Give it a wee rev `gently` and Hmmm lovely tone.. Same when in `drive` mode and by heck does it feel `freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee`

Womble II will have to wait for the time being... but it will have one fitted toooooooooooooooo

Cheers - Cost me £299 which I thought was very reasonable and that was with the Oval end pipe added for free....

down pipes will be circa £200 - but that will be done in next quarter if you follow....

If your not happy they will fix it. No problems.

Had 2x 4" Tips fitted on the A4 for £100. Thought they sticked out to much so they refitted them to exactly the position I wanted.

Even more than before, as I could hear the turbo prior... But the tone is deeper..

You definitely notice the engine wants to rev - and how heavy is the old backbox! I have that and the Cat sat in the roofspace of the garage.

£299 well spent i think Stu

Down pipes next ... then the sports cat, dont want hassel with MOT putting one in and out etc.. But these mod's we wont be able to see them though, but with the increased bore size, I belive I will notice an improvement again
