Ive had my lcr mk1 for about 2 months now and since having it theres been some dodgy stains on the front seats. Looks like something has been spilt on them but not removed properly (pics to follow).

I bought some upholstery cleaner from halfords, its in a can like a foaming spray type thing, worked into seat area but didnt really do anything.

Then someone suggested using washing powder, fairy and water and scrub seat, looked like it had worked, but once dry the stain re-appeared.

Any ideas?

yeah, i found that those foam in a can things don't do much. May be worth getting a carpet shampooer and cleaning that way.

Again, as for scrubbing with washing up powder, i tried that last year on the 1.4. Made the stain less visable.

I usually find a steam cleaner will shift a lot too.

I bought a small hand held one for about £30 a few years ago. Did wonders.

Argos might sell something similar.
