Right i had a search found some stuff but nothing that really told me what i needed to no. What is the reason for going k03s and turbo back system with the stage 2 is it just to get the power..? would it not work fine with what i got a cat back, jetex filter, can get a fmic and 4 bar fpr, and i got the standard k03 would it not work fine but just produce less power untill i get a k03s and the rest of exhaust fitted reason for asking is i can get hold of a stage 2 ecu but cant afford a k03s or d/p and cat at the moment. If it would work any idea's what sort of power before the k03s.

Stage 1 maps are all generic maps and most stage 2 maps are custome to take in to account your other mods on the car.

Some mappers requira a 4 bar fpr some require a 3 bar.
You will need a fmic to get the best out of any turbo otherwise you will suffer top end power loss.
A larger down pipe is recommended too.

As already said, k03 will max out at ~220 and a k03s at ~240 but the k03s will hold power longer higher up the rev range.

so it would be safe to run a stage 2 map on a k03 with just a cat back system then....? I just wouldnt get the same gains as i woild with a k03s and a turbo back system..correct.?

I ran an APR stage 2 map (with great effect) with a panel filter, forge 007p, FMIC and turbo back exhaust. On a K03 turbo - I was advised not to bother changing the turbo. The turbo back exhaust was essential though so I would think it will run poorly without it.
What map is it you are getting?

I think that if you did change to a ko3s, with all the mods to have on the car already you would see more gains really. But i agree, a turbo back is a MUST. Standard downpipe is like a bottleneck and very restrictive!

i would be looking at getting a k03s when i got the funds. Supersprint do a manifold and d/p for £376.38 which may have to be my next mod before fmic and then strait to stage 2 then. so my full mod list with the map before the k03s would be stage 2 map,k03, forge tip, turbosmart dv, jetex filter, fmic (proberly forge uni one), supersprint mani and d/p custom cat-back... Should that get me about 210-220 because of the k03 then upto bout 240 with ko3s.?

I looked into this and i dont think they fit, because they are made for left hand drive cars, downpipe anyway. You dont need to change the manni for ko3s, youd get more power if you did but its not a must. Get a blueflame or Milteck downpipe

ahh buggar scrap that about the mani i just double checked its for the 2.0 i so mk 2 i just woke up from night shifts.lol. Maybe we all need to e-mail supersprint and say we want one recon a few peoople on here would have one id buy one. So would be 3" d/p and cat then prob from blueflame and i also forgot to add the 4bfpr.

You will have to check with the mapper if a 4 bar FPR is required mate as not all maps require one.
