Hi,

I collect my Cupra 290 on Friday and just have a question regarding a remap.

If I put the following parts on will it give me greater gains on the map over a map done just with res delete?

If so how much difference?

- RacingLine R600 Intake Kit
- RacingLine Turbo Inlet Elbow
- RacingLine Silicone Intake Hose

Thanks in advance

I don’t think the gains from the above will be as good as a stage 1 remap. I’d do the above, and get a stage 1 done. My Leon Cupra 280 has a stage 1 map and it’s 👌🏼 It should have come like this from the factory in my opinion. If you had to pick between the above and the map, I’d say map.

Hi,
I meant what would the gains be on having the mods fitted against not having that fitted, the map is being done anyway

Not done the intake kit on my car. Maybe about 10-20 extra horses? It’ll sound better, and it’s better for the engine.

Remember the '280' badge is very conservative. The tuners know that it has the same engine power map as the Golf R, S3 etc. A well looked after 280 on 99 Octane fuel has been on rolling road at 315ps from factory
