Staff Injury

Afternoon all,

Sorry for our lack of posting on this forum over the weekend. We have been trying to operate at full capacity but with a man down.

Stuart was out enjoying the winter conditions on his snowboard and had a fall. Very silly little fall he said but unfortunately it took it's toll on his shoulder. He has managed to dislocate his right shoulder and will be out of heavy work for 8 weeks. We will have him back within 2 weeks and he will be taking on the of role of light duties

i.e. Orders, mail, telephone and so on while Laura will be assisting me with the details we have booked.

To make matters worse Laura and I are off to Brugge this coming Friday for a long weekend so we really are stretched out.

We have a temp coming in over the next week or two who will be running the on-line shop so this will not be affected in any way.

For those of you who are waiting on the Zaino Samples you will be pleased to know that this was done prior to Stuarts injury and will not be affected either. The first batch will be going out tomorrow or Wednesday and should start arriving towards the end of the week.

We would like to wish Stuart a speedy recovery and hope to have him back soon as.

He is going under the knife tomorrow.

The purpose of this message is to let you guy's know that while we try to keep actively on-line as often as possible you might not be seeing as much of us as we would like over the next week or two.

Lee.

get well soon Theo. cough i mean Stuart

Had my shoulder pop out then straight back in, (thanks Mr Mondeo drive who never stopped, and those that simply drove around me..). Its never been the same (some 6 years later) i can no longer throw as i used to, and pull it at the wrong angle and it bloody hurts.
I hope he recovers fully with no long term issues.

Hopefully a very quick recovery.

He sounds like he is in lots of pain.

I'm worried about how soon he can start to hold a 4kg machine for 10hr days polishing a car lying on the floor on his back upside down with his right hand.

if it's anything like my neck or shoulder injury due to a mild crash, then it will be some months, even after physio, and his accident sounds a lot worse than mine, as mine was only whiplash, but his has been dislocated

6 months to properly heal and if he starts to work and polish, which in your line of work will carry on irritating his shoulder till he gets it properly sorted, but that will only happen through months of resting it

sorry mate

I think he is more worried about his golf.

He is a very keen golfer also and he is worried it will weaken his game.

While I need him back asap I have told him I fully understand and I'm not going to grudge him his hobbies. I too am a keen boarder and golfer and I know how it is.

I went round to see him tonight and he was saying that he has been told that any upper arm movement might be restricted for life now.

No point guessing, we will just have to see what the future will bring.

it's been almost 6 months now, and even playing Tiger Woods golf on the Wii can hurt and put out my neck again! doh!
