Hey,
Recently I've noticed that I can hear a rattly squeeky sound under the car particularly when idle and sometimes when driving at low speeds. The squeek gets worse when I rev the car.

Any ideas?? I recently had a decat fitted so maybe the gasket nut is loose? Or could it be engine mounts?

Can anyone advise how to find this out.

Danke!

Does it only do this when cold or after car has warmed up, as mine made a similar noise when my de-cat was cold. If not try checking the heat sheild around the de-cat and by the downpipe.

loose bracket from the cat to centre box, notorious for breaking, mine did and fixed by simply placing a u clamp on it to re attatch the centre box to the car.... sorted.

will be that aswell.

move the exhaust up and down by pushing the tailpipes and see if it squeaks.

yeah, give it a shake and see if it makes the noise from outside, it probably will.

go to your local ats or similar, take a u clamp and get them to bolt it on, 5 min job.... didnt charge me to do it either iirc it was a 30mm clamp maybe
