Hey up, i bout my lcr last month and it had a forge dv on it, im not 100% if it is the 007p or the splitR. its set up using standard airbox. Anyway, under low boost normal driving you can hear the dv slightly dumping/recirculating the air but under hard driving, when coming off throttle all you hear is a high pitched squeek, is this something to worry about because it dowsnt sound healtly :( thanks

All fine!

Have you opened it up and checked the spring and vacuum tested it? Might be worth doing to put your mind at ease.

This is a 007p

Sounds to me like if you have a 007p that it is in reverse. Perfectly safe like this but does makes a sound like a canary being throttled when you let off boost. :) Good way to check to tell if in reverse, if a 007p, is to see if the vac line is connecting on the top of it or to the side. If on the side then in reverse. Nowt to worry about either way.
Hope this helps. :D

Is it fitted this way round? I have mine in the reverse of this and it makes a louder chirp than it did the standard way round. Tends to squeek for when lifting off on full boost.

I ran mine with a Green cotton filter and drilled airbox for a while. Sounded great.
Then I changed to an open cone filter and it sounds soooooooooo much better. Loads of sucking and whistle from the turbo and chirping from the DV! :cartman:

I have read this several times on this forum, I have never got my 007p to chirp when its reversed, I guess it not a happy canary.

it wont chirp with the dv relocation kit on. it didnt chirp on mine untill the relocation kit was removed. also i found the vac pressure was less with the relocation kit on. try removing it for a day or 2 just to see how you get on :D;
