just a quick question... since mucking about with jacking the car up and down numerous times for wheels, skirts etc...my rear drivers side squeaks when you get in/out of the car...
is it the springs or shocks that squeak? and so need replacing?
can it be stopped without any replacements?
do i have to do both sides like when changing new tyres?

oh and 1 more thing...is it easy to do myself or a garage?

thanks all

my front springs creak like f**k going over speed bumps, doesnt neccessarily mean they are worn out though and I don't know of any way to stop the squeaking!

I think as long as you are replacing like for like springs & dampers you can do only one side, the problem might be the car cornering differently to the right and left due to wear on one side.

Don't know how easy it is to do but I'd be tempted to have a go myself!
