have got hold of a compressor and spray gun and want to have a go at painting my wing ,can anyone tell me what kind of paint i would need to get did a bit 20 years ago then it was cellulose paint and thinners is it still the same

2 pack will need a air fed mask mate! do not use it with out. use a single pack clear coat if you dont have one!

Hi Mate, Thanks for your help. have got all the stuff i need. Just wondering if your mix thiners with the 2 pack base coat and hardener? or if it is just the base coat and hardener?

look on the tins, should tell you. paint shops have metal sticks with various markings on which you dip in to the pots to tell you the ratios

if in doubt get a spec sheet from where you got it, too much hardener dries fast, not enough will take longer to dry etc etc

it was from our local painmt store and worked out about70pounds that was enough paint for two wings and a bumper including laquar
