hello all.

im making my own dp and sports cat due to funding issues.

question is, whats the difference between a turbo sports cat 200 cel and a non turbo sports cat 200cel.

cause the only difference i can find is 150 quid!

I could be barking completely up the wrong tree here but doesn't a N/A engine required more back pressure in general? Where as with a turbo engine you would want as little back pressure as possible?

I'm sure someone will be along to correct me as that was a stab in the dark really.

Sorry, but what I was meaning by that was that maybe there are further restrictions in a N/A sports cat so the back pressure didn't drop?

ah right. thats what the cel number is.

usually standard around 400, sports down to 200.

just the turbo ones, same cel number as N/A are alot more money.

not sure why.

might have a look, see what they say, but i have a dp and cat to modify, just need the cat itself.

one for a saxo if 90quid, no if that will work then i will get that.

just i dont know if a non turbo cat will work on a turbo.

I think you'l need to get one with the same if not bigger bore size than standard depending on what size pipe your using for the downpipe. So im pretty sure a saxo one wont be big enough

mate has a 2.75 on his saxo, got the sports cat super cheap.

before you all laugh and go chavy saxo, its quicker than my ibiza!

it must be somthing like the stength or internals being different then?

Im not laughing but id say theres something seriously wrong with yours if a saxo can beat it, a saxo wouldnt stand a chance against mine which is almost standard!!

I think Badger5 maybe a good person to talk to about the mate
