I've done this on my golf xenons.. Unsure if it's the same principle for Leon's but the OEM glue is super strong and will not melt.

I bought a donor set of lights for the glass, then smashed the glass on my xenons, cleaned it all up and painted the insides. Then toke glass off donor set and tiger sealed them onto the xenons.

I ovened the donor set to remove the glass (this only worked because they were aftermarket depo units, not OEM).

Does the leon have a plastic lens or glass?

Hey Dizzy,

It is plastic lenses that was on it. I have managed to do this i used a heat gun on then and then i separated the lights using a scraper and two flat headed screw drivers, unclips the nasty looking chrome. used some scotch brite then some matt black, bosh done

Cant show you pics unfortunately as i need to have liek 15 posts before i can do anything liek that lol

Thanks for your help anyway

Wouldn't call giving my opinion on posts spam, it is a forum after all.
