splitter r

i have just fitted a splitter r to my cupra, there was a oo7p on it when i brought the car which sat in the intake pipe in a upright position, when i came to fit the splitter r the instructions said to fit the side pipe on the intake pipe which leaves the valve lying flat and the (trumpet) facing the bulkhead, is this right cuz it doesnt look very gud in this position?

yes it is right

yep thats right....you could try cold side relocation to the front of the engine bay if your not happy how its sitting!

ok thanx 4 that, i just wasnt sure because it said to fit it the opposite way around than the other forge dv.

well that is how my old dv was fitted then the instuctions said to fit the spilt r the opposite way so thats how i have done it. does yours still work correctly?

yeh its bin workin pritty goog so far-i havent tried to fix it the other way to see if it makes a difference.

well i wud give it a go and see wot happens. it does say that it works in either way but they recommend it that the side pipe it fitted to the intake, it just didnt look right when i fitted it that way so i wasnt sure if right but 'cupra john' and 'b3npm' seem to think so, so im leaving it as it is

You can just about see mine here, works much better this way.
