speedo nt workin.

hello.all new to this site.thought id give it a whirl.i have a seat ibiza 1.4s 8valve.my speedo is nt workin along with the miles not registering on the trip either.ive tryed a new set of clocks but still isnt workin the rev counter is fine tho.jus wonderin what it could be any ideas.thnx

Sensor failure? Not sure exactly what it would be called, but it would be a different one to the one that measures engine speed (rpm).

jus wonderin whether it mite be a wireing fault anywhere.maybe from the clocks to the speed sensor??
