Speed display on Climate control

Does anyone have experience of the following on EBay:-

Do you own a SEAT With Climate Control. For Only £3.99 i will email you simple instructions in which you can get a digital read out of your exact speed on your climate control display.

It takes less than 5 seconds to do and can be switched on or off. I will also send you a link that includes many more secret displays inc a digital display of engine speed (rpm). This webside includes over 100 diagnostic codes, some interesting and some not.

Thanks!

I'm sure it's on here too but check www.briskoda.net for recent posts and you will find all you need to know. (Sorry, too lazy to find the actual thread)

It's a blatant money making excercise, £3.99 to get something that with a little searching you can have for free.

And from what I can gather from the Skoda chaps the mph still isn't accurate when compared with GPS. Real speed is somewhere between what your climate and your speedo say.

Diagnostic mode is available on the Ibiza, but the options are different.
Hit Auto + Econ to switch between Centigrade/ Farenheit.
Hit the three airflow buttons + Econ to enter diagnostic mode.

The temperature dial will select the options, numbered 0 to 51, these are
not the same as the Audi option numbers. Some of them read temperatures,
some read 'h' (hours?), some are dimensionless. It should be possible to work
out at least some of them, RPM etc.

Thanks a lot mate it worked!

Some of them I could figure out they were outside temperature etc but the rest I've no idea. I tried searching for a list but I couldn't find anything.

Any help on a list of codes for the Ibiza??

I tried all the modes and while accelerating/decelerating none were proportional to either revs or mp/h

I know there are loads of temperatures!
