Hey Gents just wanted to make a thread of all of my progress with my custom parts for our Cupras and Cupra Rs. I will start out with a list of everything that will be made, all designed and manufactured by me here in Germany

Ya man I am in the group, i wanted to make a post there end of next week when i have the final draft for front grills done. I am currently setting up the workspace this next week. Then next week I have the time to edit the design and make it perfect. Add the honeycomb and print it in black and take a photo installed on my car.

The induction kit and heat shield options are spicing up my intrigue big time!
Also keen to know more about:

•front diffuser
•Pillar and column pods
•Heat shield - this especially, i think theres a gap in the market here for some bigger better heat shields. Only good one ive seen is a really tall custom one and Badger5's model

Did the grillies come out nice ? must admit i need new ones for mine, run over a tyre on the motor way after the lorry's tyre infront of me exploded and it cracked up my grille and front bumper

I like some of your ideas but dont post exclusively to that teamCupraR group as i wont be able to see. A group that has one muppet that is on the admin team that decided to ban me for having a constructive criticism of Creation Motorsport TIPs. Which you'll find were discussed extensively on this forum to be a poorer quality...

Anyway can you post pics on here of your ideas?

Lol. I'm glad (in a way) it wasn't just me... But you're completely right. A couple of opinions that I had that wasn't very popular that was based on research on here and cos they must of been site sponsors or something they banned me. The admin actually mocked the fact I liked my car by saying "it's just a SEAT" so I replied well you shouldn't be an admin if you don't care about the brand. Calls me a clown on a public page (even though the page doesn't tolerate abuse or bullying and then tells me to FO). Wish I had screen shotted it now as was going to report the page. Love to see him at a meet tbh. Have a quiet word an all...

Induction kit will be an airduct trumpet at the front bumper followed by smooth piping to the location of an 80mm neck filter and coupler to the MAF. Along with the option of having a heatshield included into the package. Heatshield will consist of double layered walls with an air gap in between acting as insulation similar to that of a Hydroflask or other thermos cans. Obviously a space for the cold air feed and it will be held down in place.

Front diffuser will be my of course my custom design, something that is big but not too flashy and of course actually functions! I'm coming from a racing and Autocross family so i have some experience with function over bling.

Column pods will be a custom steering wheel column trim that you install and allows for 2/3 guages to be installed, the idea behind this is the gauges are where your instrument cluster is so you find all the important info in one area.

Pillar pods will be on the A pillar of course custom fit mold specifically for the mk1 leon.

Working on the grills at the moment. It'll be the first thing done. Final prototyping is going on. Looking to be ready to sell in the last 2 weeks of February. Out of curiosity would you like the OEM slotted style, or Honeycomb grill like the foglights. Would you want it with the S badge, no badge, or for extra cost a custom badge.

Will also be making the upper left and right grills in honeycomb to match!

Of course my loyalty is with this forum buddy! I wouldn't exclusively post there. Updates will always be done on this thread here! After a few products are done and a website is built i would also look into becoming a forum Sponsor as well.

As for the switch panel im still brainstorming how to make it work as there are differences between double din and single din consoles. I will update you tomorrow brother with a few ideas and see what you think.

Sounds good mate.
A part that I've seen another mk1 owner make that I liked was a cold air intake coming off the nearside headlight cover trim that screws to the slam panel, it looked very oem.

Yes buddy that is included as well. I will be doing mine with the New Cupra Logo. It'll be coming out a bit after the debadged version. Debadged first then Cupra and Standard S and lastly custom badging options.
