impedence what :S ?? i just gathered anything would work tbh, its an expensive headunit, i wasnt told when buying them i had to watch what i bought, i think its a wiring defect somewhere tbh, my old speaker as crap as they were worked without a bother, but these sound sooooooo much better its unreal what £50-£60 can do

way to test is just get some speaker wire and run it straight from the head unit to a speaker. if all the speakers have cut out then its more then just a wiring problem

has the power been lost to the headunit as well?

if so check the fuses on the inside of the drivers side panel where the fan is...mine has done this a few times....just mini blade fuses..

headunit doesnt cut oout at all, i didnt think the speakers were fused, just this morning they came back on and kept cuttin on and off, you can year them about to start then no sound from any speakers, then you could take key out ignition and try again and they would work, 200w speakers arent high powered are they?

found out my problem yesterday, the little pins in which the wires connect to, one was touching the door mental ever so slightly and was short circuiting the full car so with that bent up and insulating tape to make sure it dont happen again, the tunes are banging :D:D:D:D
