Bill, I heard or read that iridium plugs arnt as long lasting as platinum etc plugs apparently so Im expecting to change them again (if i still have the cupra) in 20k.

thats the one -ve report back i've had ont he IK22's - longevety was'nt as long as std.

The leon will only be doing token mileage as of the 26th march so if the misus eventually comes round to my thinking, practicality will go out the window.

piece of piss funky, coilpack connector off, coilpack out, sparkplug out, replacement in (turn it 1 full turn anticlockwise first to prevent crossthreading) coil pack on and reconnect. The cables for each pack are limited so you can mix them up, the last one requires a few 10mm nuts off and a torx head screw (the right sized flat head will also do) to get the n249 reservior off first.

i will never touch denso IK22's.

in another engine, the tip of the plug fell off in to cylinder #1, then managed to work its way over to #2 and #3 before the engine shut down.
