Spare wheel questions

I have found that the spare wheel is missing on my "new to me" 03 LCR, after a bit of hunting i've found a couple of people willing to sell me a single wheel, but all seem to be miles away and very expnensive for a wheel with no tyre.

I've also found a couple of 18" space saver wheels from audi S3's and Golf R32's, does anybody know if one of these will fit the LCR, they are 5x100 pcd but i have no idea of the offset so will they clear the Brembo's ??????????

I would doubt a space saver will clear the Brembos as its very difficult to find an alloy that will clear these.
The MK2 Leon Cupra's come with a tin of tyre weld and a tyre pump.
This is a far cheaper option for you. This would cure all punctures apart from ripped tyre or side wall damage

Just as a matter of info for all members, I had to use my spare wheel which states on it max speed 80kph/50mph.

I asked a tyre fitter & he said that with mine being a full width spare & not one of them crappy narrow ones then it can be used safely at 70mph; which I did travelling back from a wedding for 350 miles on Sunday (which gained me 36 mpg) with no problems at all :funk:
