thinking about some spacers for my car, should i just have the rear done? won't that look hideous? i found a set of 4 on ebay for 100 beans which doesn't seem TOO bad. i've read they make a large difference and need to sharpen my car up after the revo man peppered it :D

which is awesome by the way, i've driven 250 miles in 2 days as a result and my god is it addictive. best splash out EVER

15 - 20mm hubcentric spacers, pm badger5 about the spacers he should be able to give you a price!

I've only got rear ones, wouldn't risk them on the fronts...

I think the front track is wider than the rear on a bizza, that's why people fit rear ones only

also on the front they could cause rubbing when steering

Only need the rears, front track is wider, which is why rear end car feel a bit more lively when cornering at high speed! Brings rear wheels out and imo makes car look better, as they are less tucked under the bodywork! :)

They do look better, but ive had my lowered ibiza packed to the brim for moving stuff to different houses a few times recently and if i space the wheels 15mm i reckon the wheels will actually hit the bodywork when driving.....
..... so my conclusion is to wait a few mths for myself to get em lol

Just something to consider for urself

:)

I think there are a few people who have put 20mm spacers on with 75-80mm drops and suffered no scrubbage???

75-80mm drop holy shamoley! that's what i call hitting the DECK

i'll get some rear spacers then i reckon. the rear wheels really do look tucked in now i look at them! why would they do such a thing? does it make the ride more comfortable or something?

i just fitted my seat strut brace up front, it was a bit of a screwing mission with the electrics box in the way but kinda satisfying when it all clicked back in, and what a good difference it makes!

oh ok, just my wheels where tucked under the arches when I loaded my car up (boot, rear seats and front seat all packed to the brim lol), and sticking 15mm spacers on looked like it wud hit the edge of the bodywork, or the inside of the arch.

Thats the only reason thats stopping me buying them atm, didnt look like their wud be much clearence!

Can i ask? are spacers something u put on to push the wheels out further to give u a wider wheel base for grip?
